Manicure Monday: Floral Print

Hey ladies!

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with all things floral print. I love how feminine the pattern makes me feel whether it’d be on my dress, shoes, or even my nails. I came across the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips at Walmart in this print, and I had to try it. Applying nail polish day in and day out along with using nail polish remover can really dry out and weaken your nail beds, so this is a great alternative for those of you who still want your nails done but don’t want to damage them. Here’s how I did it!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips

$8.54 USD

It comes with two packets of the nail strips (one for each hand), a cuticle stick, a nail file, and instructions. It states:

Step One: Select best fitting strip for each nail (below is what the different sizes look like).

Step Two: Remove clear protective plastic cover, then peel nail polish strip from backing paper.

Step Three: Choose the side of the strip that best fits the shape of your cuticles. Break silver tab from strip.

Step Four: Place strip against cuticle line. Hold strip at the center for maximum control. Press strip to nail. Gently stretch for a perfect fit. Firmly smooth over entire nail. Run flat side of cuticle stick along edge of strip to firmly bond strip to nail.

Step Five: Smooth excess over nail edge, forming a crease around the edge of the nail. Gently file away excess from nail edge using light pink side of the nail file.

Once that’s done, you should have fun, beautiful nails! The box says that it should last up to 10 days. All in all, I think this is a great alternative to the usual routine of a manicure. What do you guys think? Would you try this out?

Let me know!
